Mylookbook's Tahnee Brahim road tests the new NP Set On The Double Pens...![]() Ok, call me naive, but I’m the type of girl who reads the beauty tips in magazines and tries to recreate them herself. Picture Drew Barrymore’s transformation scene in Never Been Kissed-magazines open everywhere, products covering the counters, and some not so fantastic results. For as long as I can remember I’ve been a sucker for descriptions like ‘sunkissed glow’, ‘dewy’ and ‘effervescent shimmer’. However in my unfortunate case it normally ends in ‘streaked blunder’, ‘blotchy’ and ‘skin irritation’. With this in mind I feel it is my obligation to save other women from this fate, by sharing the amazing results of the new Napoleon Perdis dual make up pen. I normally steer well clear of cream eyeshadows and blushes, but the Napoleon Coral Cream Blush is divine. I received it one week ago and it has taken centrestage of my beauty shelf and I’ve used nothing else on my cheeks since. It’s so light and gives a natural shimmery glow. That’s right, all those positive phrases we women can’t get enough of. Not to mention the fact I must take all my make up with me on a daily basis for touch ups, and the dual pen takes up next to no room in my currently stylishly small handbag. Heaven! So as I said, it’s a dual pen which means of course the blush has to have a partner. What better combination then liquid eyeliner. I was tragically born with an unsteady hand, which means by the time I get the clumpy eyeliner on to a brush then up to my eye, and by the time I snap the eye pencil and resharpen it, I almost never have even eyeliner. The blessing of the Napoleon Eyeliner is that you unscrew the pen, pull out the brush, and it’s loaded with enough liner to apply one swift line across the lid. I don’t think it gets any easier; unless of course you have a live-in make-up artist to assist your every need. So for those of you who can relate and find eyeliner application stressful, worry no more! At only $28 you’ll be thanking the make-up gods for making your morning ritual that little bit easier. Available in both the Black Liqued Eyeliner + Coral Cream Blush and Black Mascara + Concealer/Highlighter www.npcosmetics.com |
